Ragga Muffins 7s competed in the Annual Freetail 7s News Year’s Rugby Tournament, hosted in Round Rock, TX. Ragga opened the tournament with a sloppy win over Rock Rugby. In Ragga’s second match the ball just couldnt bounce their way falling to the eventual champions Harpooners. In their their match of day one, a costly interception at full time leads Ragga to their second loss on day one, to the club 7s national champions Chicago Lions.
Day 2 Ragga came out firing on all cylinders for the Bowl Semi-Finals, dominating APEX. In their final the meet Gorilla Rugby who just did not have the fire power to take over the game. Ragga Wins. Ragga Muffins 7s, finishes Freetail 7s with a record of 3-2 and Bowl Champions.
